LITTLE GRACE NURSERY
We provide loving care during the Morning Worship service for infants and one-year-olds. Careful attention is given to create a loving, Christ-centered environment for children. Sign-in forms, labeled belongings, and attentive adults ensure a safe and secure nursery room. Volunteers serve on a weekly rotation basis.
NURSING MOTHER'S CORNER
Located in the nursery, this privacy space is complete with a changing table.
LITTLE 2'S AND 3'S
This age group enjoys age-appropriate toys and activities, a Bible story and songs, and a snack in a carefully set, safe area within the nursery room. Lead teachers rotate on a bi-weekly basis and are assisted by a nursery volunteer. Children are taught to recognize the Bible as the True Word of God.
Pre-K through 1st Grade
We have the privilege of being part of God’s work in little children’s hearts to set their hope in Him (Psalm 78:5-7) Children Desiring God curriculum enables nurturing teachers to acquaint the next generation with both the acts and the words of God. Children explore God’s glorious deeds and mighty power through key themes found chronologically throughout the Old Testament. Teachers, serving on a bi-weekly rotation, prepare the Bible lesson through the study of scripture. Interactive activities and songs round out this class which meets during the entire Morning Worship service.
2nd Grade through 3rd Grade
Students enjoy a time of family worship before transitioning as a group to a classroom for a God-centered Bible lesson. “Jesus, What a Savior!” systematically walks students through a study on redemption presenting God as the main character in each lesson, focusing on the magnificent character of the One who can satisfy all our longings. Seeing the greatness of God gives students a basis to respond to Him. Gifted teachers, rotating bi-weekly, direct students to use their Bibles to discover God’s character and His Word through scripture memory. The first week of each month emphasizes the importance of prayer. Students should bring their Bibles, a notebook, and pen to class.
Grace Notes - Kids Choir
Part of the music ministry includes the occasional opportunity for the children to participate in singing during a Sunday morning Worship service. We will anncounce any upcoming services during the Children's Sunday School, and practices for that special service will take place during the Sunday School classes leading up to that occasion.
